Hey Ilia, CQ1.zip is infected with the packer.armadillo.z virus
It's got a small footprint but that file was definitely compromised

1- Like Nord said below, both of the square blue buttons have to be pressed first (pushed down)
2- The top red polarity knob has three "channels"
If you're able to see the target values changing when you use the scroll wheel, then you should see the % change too, unless the square blue buttons aren't pressed.
Hmm. I can't replicate the issue with the TV volume; mine is muted at lvl 0 even when pc volume is maxed. However, I know of some volume bugs spatially-related to the radio, so if you found or bought one by drone, then that's probably messing with your TV vol.
As to green argemia, no spoilers here, but feel free to ask on the discord server in the Spoilers channel.
Yeah that's weird. If you're a ways into the game (by days), then it could be a specific ent triggered by an event, but usually that one chases you. The other one that hangs around the NW quadrant only comes out at night, and doesn't usually get too close to the base. There are other triggered events too, and some of those may show up. If you don't see anything on the ground or in the sky, and you can eliminate the atv and drone, then tbh I dunno what it is.
1. It is a bit awkward. However, the reason is because E also does something (e.g., for the ATV, ALT-E mounts it, but E allows you to pick it up and move it). With the inventory objects, it's because some can be both "actioned" and "equipped," so you need at least two commands anyway, if not three for ease of use (E, ALT-E, & E-ALT). Once I got used to it I didn't mind, cuz I'd rather be able to use a related set of key combos than have a mess of others to memorize or re-map.
2. Yup. I think that's in the works.
3. Same, new version (not yet released) has done something with the rivers.
I do think he said he was modifying the mouse scroll wheel command to change the grab distance for items you interact with, but I don't know if there's any change planned to the E/Alt stuff. I do know you can change your bindings in the settings, but you'll still be using some kind of combo.
Well-said. After playing this for a few weeks, you summed up my thoughts almost exactly (I also asked for some added color, patches of wildflowers and such). One note, the crowbar does work beyond being purely decorative; you can flail it or throw it, and some of the secrets can only be found by doing this. If you haven't already, I strongly suggest joining the very active Discord server, and posting these suggestions in their appropriate channels, as that gets a lot of active visibility, as well as crowd-sourced involvement with the dev and the players. -neezdutz
Hey Sam, I was about to post some similar stuff but I think I can help with a few of these first:
1 - He did. The new version allows you to target and ping root as a dish location. However (a trick from previous versions), you can look at the map in the main room, and find the station which lies on an intersect line between the one you'll be at, and the base. E.g., if you're at Lea/Lima, then the base is between you and Fabia/Foxtrot. So if you're at L, you can just target F, and you'll run into A (root, base) on the way to F. It's an easy way to find your way back.
2 - You can :) In fact, you already could.. it's just not "obvious" how. You know you can't "use" it, but what happens when something dense and heavy moves at sufficient speed? ;-)
3 - Good point, hadn't thought of that. Agreed.
4 - Not a bad idea. Although there IS a fuel-saving feature, which ironically also translates to "warp speed into a tree" feature. If you haven't gone 200kph downhill yet, you'll want to figure out how, especially since when you do, it uses ZERO fuel. and it's not even a bug, just a normal feature of things with geared transmissions.
5 - Fixed in v0.4.0
6 - AGREED. It's not the only thing borking up reports, but it seems to be the major one.
7-9 - No argument. All fun ideas
